Our approach to cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on a device when a website is visited. Some remember choices or keep requested functions working; others, where used, can measure traffic or support advertising. UK rules require visitors to be told about cookies and generally to consent before non-essential technologies are used.

Access Ledger gives a choice between necessary-only and accepting all. The notice can be reopened from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, without needing to contact the publisher.

The cookie currently used

Our first-party cookie cookie_consent remembers the choice made in the banner. It contains the value necessary or all, applies across the site and expires no later than 180 days after it is set. Its purpose is to remember the visitor’s expressed preference.

This preference cookie is necessary for maintaining that selection. Reopening Cookie settings clears the previous selection so that a new choice can be made. The cookie is not a record of identity, employment or workplace access permissions.

Optional analytics and performance technologies

Analytics tools can be used by websites to assess page views, technical performance and navigation problems. These may place cookies or collect usage signals. Access Ledger does not currently load optional analytics cookies through the scripts included on its pages.

If analytics are introduced, we will identify their purpose, provider and applicable duration before enabling them, and obtain consent where required. Declining optional cookies will not prevent access to the article or company information.

Advertising and marketing technologies

Marketing technologies may be used on some websites to attribute advertising activity or tailor promotion. Access Ledger does not currently install optional advertising cookies through its own page scripts. A link that takes you to an external supplier is not permission for that supplier to place cookies on this website.

Should the categories of cookies in use change, we will update the cookie notice and policy, identify the relevant providers and provide any necessary consent controls before optional technologies are used.

Other providers and browser controls

Website delivery providers may process necessary technical data as part of loading pages or protecting services, distinct from optional analytics or advertising cookies. External websites have their own storage practices; their notices and controls apply when you visit them.

Most browsers also let visitors view, block or delete cookies. Blocking the preference cookie may mean the site asks for a selection again. Browser settings do not replace the clear, site-level choices offered in our notice.

Questions and policy changes

MTL Express LTD is responsible for this notice. Questions can be sent to [email protected] or directed to Suite Ra01, 195-197, Wood Street, London, E17 3NU. We review this policy when website functionality or relevant rules change.

Any substantial change to the cookie categories in use will be reflected in updated information before the affected technologies are enabled. The date at the beginning of the policy indicates the published version.
